MS Paint Revamped: Explore New Features and Capabilities

    W hen it comes to brushes, just click on the Brush icon in the main menu ribbon for an accessible drop-down list with which you can choose a suitable brush from.

  2. Navigate to the Layers button on the Command Bar. 3. To create a new layer, either click Plus (+) button (or use Ctrl + Shift + N keyboard shortcut). 4. Add images or shapes using Paint’s tools available, these new elements will then apply directly onto this new layer.
  3. (Optional) To delete layers, right-click them and choose “Delete Layer.”
  4. To reorder layers by dragging, bringing forward or backward the order by moving one or more layers by dragging.
  5. To duplicate a layer, right-click it in the right pane and choose “Duplicate layer”. 8. To hide layers for work on another layer, right-click them from within that pane and select “Hide layer”.
  6. Merge layers by right-clicking each one and selecting “Merge Down” option, merging it with its immediately preceding layer. 10. Save your work by clicking Save Button; all layers will be stored into one image file.
  7. This version also supports opening and saving transparent “.png” files, enabling users to import images with transparent backgrounds into layers before saving as a transparent image with white background.

MS Paint now comes equipped with layers functionality, making it more useful for creating complex digital art by layering multiple images, text, and graphics on top of each other.
