WhatsApp Channels Launch by Mark Zuckerberg

Mark Zuckerberg announced the launch of WhatsApp Channels, a new one-way broadcast communication feature within WhatsApp that allows organizations and influencers to share updates privately with their audience.
WhatsApp Channels are a tool that enables one-way communication to followers. Organizations can broadcast updates, news, events, offers etc to their audience on WhatsApp through Channels.
Mark Zuckerberg made the announcement via a video message on his own newly launched WhatsApp Channel. He mentioned that Channels will allow users to receive updates from their favourite people and organizations in a private way within WhatsApp.
Many top Indian celebrities like the Indian Cricket Team, Katrina Kaif, Diljit Dosanjh, Akshay Kumar, Vijay Deverakonda, Neha Kakkar have already created their official WhatsApp Channels.
The Indian Cricket Team mentioned they will share match schedules, scorecards, updates etc related to the ICC World Cup 2023 which will be hosted in India via their WhatsApp Channel. This will allow fans to receive authoritative updates directly from the team.
WhatsApp Channels provide organizations and influencers a private, trusted channel to directly engage with their audience within the WhatsApp platform.
